Welcome to Indian Society for Lead Awareness & Research(InSLAR)

A two day “National Symposium on Lead Awareness” was organized by the Department of Biochemistry, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, on October 5-6, 2013, in association with the Biochemistry Foundation and National Referral Centrefor Lead Projects in India. The most significant outcome of the two day conference was the formation of the “Indian Society for Lead Awareness & Research”[InSLAR]. The Society has been registered under the Indian Societies Act 1860 with the Registrar of Societies at Lucknow with registration No. 1650-2012-2013

 Mission and Goal of the Society :

Disseminate relevant information on toxic metals in general and lead poisoning in particular to Government authorities, NGO’s, clinicians treating lead poisoned cases and other institutions concerned, and create awareness among the general public through education, documentation and media communication.
